Prior to owning her own shop, McGauley had a trailblazing 10-year career with Turner Broadcasting and TNT, where she developed and grew the Talent Relations Department into a major engine of the entertainment company. This department’s impact on increased viewership and sponsorship and improved visibility is considered a driving force behind TNT’s current position as a premier cable network.
As Vice President of Sports Talent Relations, she managed appearances of celebrities and athletes in network promotions, live events, original movies, syndicated series and philanthropic endeavors like UNICEF. Her efforts strengthened the network's sports relationships and increased the network's profile with the National Basketball Association and the National Football League. Shannon also developed cross-promotional opportunities for Turner Broadcasting and the Time Warner companies through grass roots marketing events and programs. Using her relationships, she created high-profile, cross-promotional events that featured celebrities such as George Clooney, Sarah Jessica Parker, James Brown, Tiger Woods, Shaquille O'Neal, Serena Williams, to name a few.
