For new philanthropists, we identify areas and populations of need; expertly evaluate existing charitable opportunities that meet those needs, and match clients with appropriate causes that fit their interests, personality, time commitments and proposed gift amounts. If programming doesn’t exist, our team assists clients in founding and managing their own charitable organization or foundation. We maintain a database of evidence-based programs on a variety of topics proven effective in changing the world, which we use to design programs and services. For clients with existing philanthropies, we evaluate and tweak programming to ensure it is achieving its desired results.

We ensure meaningful results by providing the three M’s of philanthropy: 1) Message: We help client’s develop their message in a way that is effective, consistent and fact based, and then ensure that it is conveyed both well and often. 3) Measurement: We make sure our client’s philanthropic efforts are measured to evaluate what is working and what is not. This feedback is critical for effective program implementation and future fundraising and partnership efforts. 3) Media: Impact Strategies has one of the most effective media relations teams in the country. We position media opportunities to promote our client’s charitable efforts and ensure they remain in the public eye.
